Artwork: Leaves II and Tulips IV2009 Sarasota Magazine & Gulfshore Life have awarded their Arts Ticket Book cover art for the two county groups in Florida. The Arts Ticket Book is formatted to be a flip book – one side includes coupon offers for art venues in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte County area subscribers, and the other includes Naples & Fort Myers. The Sarasota side was awarded to Jo-Ann Golenia with Going Home on the cover. The Ticket Book is distributed to some 27,500 subscribers as well as through three sponsoring arts organizations.
2009 Art Quilts Lowell 2009, A National Juried Exhibition, August 5 - September 19, 2009, Brush Art Gallery, Lowell, MA. The exhibition will include some thirty art quilts from artists throughout the United States and "will provide an overview of some of the finest quilts being produced in this country."
